Company Summary

EEC Energy Corp. (EEC) is a privately held company formed to commercialize an Anaerobic Digester (AD) that was designed in conjunction with a previous project that is now managed by EEC. Initially, the partners of EEC had pooled their efforts to provide a profitable solution for waste streams incurred from agricultural, industrial and municipal sewage waste (MSW). EEC has successfully operated a thermophilic AD system since May 2003. During this period of operation, EEC has developed the supporting data that demonstrates our AD system to be unique in its design and profitable to operate.

The principals of EEC began their research into anaerobic digestion (AD) early in 2001. For the past two and half years, EEC has operated a prototype thermophilic anaerobic digester at Circle “D” Farm in Thunder Bay. These efforts have resulted in the ADvantage System Anaerobic Digester - an improved layout and design of our efforts in Thunder Bay (patent pending). Currently, EEC Energy Corp. licences the technology from a holding company wholly owned by the principles of EEC.

There are several motivating factors providing EEC with the opportunity to participate in a newly emerging, rapidly growing market, including:

Governments and consumers are now more than ever aware of the need to find alternative sources of fuel and energy to sustain our economies and standard of living.

A recent study pegged the growing AD market in North America at between USD$20 billion and $30 billion. One only has to look at Europe, with over 1,800 AD installations, as an indicator of the growth potential for the AD market in Canada and the US.

To this end, EEC introduced the ADvantage System Anaerobic Digester, a thermophilic, high-efficient, modular turn-key waste management system to meet the growing market demand. A full analysis of the AD market can be found in our Business Plan.

Our Commitment

EEC Energy is committed to creating opportunities to develop renewable energy projects that are centred around the ADvantage System Anaerobic Digester, and harness the energy found in what most people consider "waste".

We believe there is huge potential in reducing our need for fossil fuels to produce energy - particularly electricity, process water and biogas. High energy and fuel prices demand that our economy find other renewable sources of energy to ease the burden placed on us by high prices.

EEC Energy is also committed to ensuring that ALL the by-products from the anaerobic digestion process are utilized - biogas for electricity and process water, fertilizers and soil amendments for residential , commercial and agricultural uses.

Revenue Sources

EEC has developed a flexible business model that generates revenue from several sources:

1. System Sales – These include the ADvantage System components and the equipment required to operate the system.
2. Start-up/Engineering and Consulting Fees – Each system sale requires the expertise of the staff at EEC Energy to ensure a successfully completed project. The site design, start-up and project management form a part of the total ADvantage sales package.
3. Management Fees – EEC Energy is offering the ADvantage Management Option for each system. For a percentage of energy and by-product sales, the experts at EEC will assist the buyer in the operation, maintenance and marketing of by-products.
4. Tipping Fees – For many industrial and municipal customers, tipping fees are a fact of life. EEC can offer a competitive advantage over landfills as we can use the waste stream as a source of energy and not a burden on our burgeoning landfill sites.
5. System Revenues – For future projects, EEC Energy is planning to establish a equity financing arm of the company to facilitate the construction of new facilities. With lower overhead costs and profitable business model, EEC and its investors will reap the benefits of the revenues derived from the project.

With the growing demand for renewable energy technologies, EEC is in an excellent position to take advantage of many tax incentives, subsidies and mandatory green energy programs. These programs are offered at the federal/provincial/state levels to promote the use and help establish “green energy” projects.
